After the two Masses on Sunday 17th May, we opened the hall doors to a wonderful Summer Fayre.
£1020 Profit was made – to be donated to church funds. We had a plant stall, amazingly presented by Debbie Martin (how does she find the time?) where there is always a queue to get the latest cuttings and plants. A raffle, cakes, bric-a-brac, bottle stall, cosmetic & sweets & jewellery all held together with light bites from the kitchen. A big thank you to all the volunteer stall holders!
Numbers were lower at this fayre but it was great fun to catch up with parishioners we sometimes never see as they attend different Masses.
Put the Christmas Fayre date in your diaries – Sunday 29th November!
