PARISH GROUPS

We are an active and vibrant parish with many groups that we hope you will find attractive and interesting.

The UCM is a group of ladies (not always Mothers) who regularly meet for talks, celebrations and more

The society visits people who are housebound, lonely, bereaved or simply in need of assistance

The Catenian Association is a Catholic Men’s Group that meets monthly with an emphasis on Family, Faith and Friendship

The Choir is run by Tony Ryan and currently features four men and twelve women

We have very active sections of guiding in our church. Each section offers a wide range of activities to suit the age group.

It is an art group and not a class, but new members are always welcome

Ladies keep fit classes have been held at St. Columba’s for the past 30 years with Gill Tomei, a qualified teacher with KFA

The Community Cafe at St. Columba’s is in its 4th year with all the profits going to various charities

Over 15 years ago now, St Columba’s adopted ‘Ahotokurom’ as a charity that the Parish would support

Father Roy Tablizo, warmly welcomed us with open arms, and offered to celebrate our Filipino Mass in his parish church
