Last Sunday’s concert (a most enjoyable event for all concerned) raised the magnificent sum of £429 for Ahotokurom, the leprosy village in Ghana which we as a parish have adopted and support.
A brilliant effort, as was the concert given by the South London Concert Band.
Conductor was St Columba’s very own director of music, Tony Ryan.
A total of 75 people were there in person to enjoy the big-band performance (plus mulled wine during the interval) with another 70-odd watching on YouTube.
Well done and thanks, all concerned.
